Riding on Psiloritis mountains and on the south of Rethymnon

This route explores the southern fringes of Psiloritis, riding the Amari Valley and culminating on the southern coastline of the Rethymno Prefecture.
Overnight stays are planned at Pardi Forest in Psiloritis and Agia Marina beach near Fragokastello.
From the chapel of Agios Titos in the Pardi Forest, the road ascends to the Toumpotos Prinos shelter at an altitude of 1510m. This climb is easily manageable by car or on foot.
The return journey follows the scenic Kapsodasos - Kallikratis - Argyroupoli route, considered one of the finest in Crete.
